Once the skills of colour, design and composition were learn't through spending a lifetime copying and/or creating illuminated manuscripts in the monastery, these skills could be transferred to any creative project.

In the present lifetime I have put these skills to use in painting, drawing, designing children's books, and designing dance costumes. The same skills can be used in creating any visual images - such as photograpy.
