1960's Sydney, Australia
In Primary school I began to 'illuminate' my school books and write my headings in Medieval English. Headings and page borders were elaborately decorated with swirls and designs. My favourite activity was to create books 'projects' as they were called.


The fascination with detailed design, swirling elaborate patterns and ''illumination' continued into adulthood and expressed itself later in my illustrations, and etchings. Hints of it can even be seen in some of my paintings.


The Astrological Signs Drawings were printed and thousands sold as cards during the 1980's and 1990's.


I have five illustrated educational activity books (k-6) published and working on a sixth.
